Stephen Bell is one of Chicago's most notable green professionals. His sustainability-related experience includes past positions as the Director of Operations at the Notebaert Nature Museum, Director of Sustainability for the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Director of the City of Chicago's Center for Green Technology. A key role as a sustainability leader at these public institutions is to educate, demonstrate and interpret sustainability to the general public. Stephen understands the challenges that people encounter when attempting to incorporate sustainability into their daily lives and routines, and is passionate about helping others achieve their sustainability goals.
Stephen’s passion for green products, services and solutions is also evident in his personal life. At home Stephen uses green cleaning products, recycles, buys locally-sourced products, composts food waste, conserves water in the kitchen, bathroom and garden, and he is experimenting with urban agriculture.
