I can understand your concern seeing your power washer smoking. Did you check the oil level to make sure it isn't over filled? I will forward your question to an expert who will investigate the matter further and get back to you. You will hear from them within two business days if not sooner. Until you hear from us, have a nice day.
Check to make sure the oil is not over filled. If it the oil level is good, run the machine for about 10-15 minutes and see if the smoke clears up. If it does not then there is something going on in the engine. This could be a broke ring or a problem with the crankcase breather assembly. If the machine has sat for a while, this is sort of common and after a little bit of running, it should clear up.
