Model # 790.32353000 Front left does not spark to ignite. - all others work fine. Need part number to replace ignitor. I am very handy, so is the ignitor easy to replace?
I understand when it comes to replacing parts on your appliance or tool you can replace them on your own. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, you can visit Sears Parts Direct website to speak with a Sears associate to find out what part is needed. I have attached the link below. Have a nice day!
Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.Igniters do not normally fail unless the ceramic insulator at the base of the igniter is cracked or broken. I would suspect the wire connection may have come disconnected at the electrode/igniter or at the spark module. The part number of the igniter/orifice assembly is part #316540700.In order to remove the top, all the burner grates and burner bases will have to be removed from the top. All the screws must be taken out on the top before the top can be removed. I was not able to locate any model specific instructions for removing the top. The top should come up and off after removing every burner bases from the top including the burner knobs. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
