I have light maple and med. oak floors in my kitchen/great room area, which is all open and connected with some two story tall walls. What color walls?

This will be a very large area of wall color and I tend to like neutral colors but also don't want the paint to just blend in to the light colored woodwork/fireplace, etc.

Selecting a paint palette can be an incredibly challenging task. Luckily, there is nothing permanent about paint! I personally love the Benjamin Moore palettes and think the Georgian Brick does a great job of highlighting the light tones of your wood cabinetry and flooring.

I also have a link below from Valspar (sold at Sears) that allows you to input colors into a selected picture.

Rather than buy a number of different samples and paint palettes to "test" on your walls, it is likely best to find some already put together options online. SImply by googling "maple cabinets" images online, you can find a number of kitchens that may resemble the flooring coloring and cabinetry in your own home. Two images below highlight a neutral wall with a orangish accent above or a lighter green accent that also blends well.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
