Thanks for replying with the model number.

There is no reset button.

The "pop" you heard I suspect was electrical in nature and may have tripped the circuit breakers running the unit.

If you were using the dryer I suspect the element broken and caused a short.

Both the washer and dryer work off the black and white wires at the terminal block.

First check the circuit breakers for the unit. There should be two. Turn each off and then back on and see if there was any improvement.

It is odd that both the dryer and washer stopped working at the same time. I suspect there is a voltage problem.

This would need to be checked at the terminal block of the unit. You will need a meter and be comfortable using it to measure live voltage.

You can reply and tell me if you have a meter and if you know how to use it.

Once I know this we can proceed with checking this problem.

Please reply with any additional details for further assistance.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
