I have replaced the pressure switch (cac-4221-1) on my air compressor (919-175951) and the tube on the right leak after its' at correct pressure (120 PSI). Why?

Having to work on the Air Compressor and still not able to get it working can be frustrating I have taken the time to research on the Manage My life website and have located a few links that you may find useful. I am sorry you are having a problem with the air compressor. If air continues to leak out of the relief valve on the side of the pressure switch the problem is the check valve in the tank. The check valve is a one-way valve that should allow air to enter the tank but not out. If it is hung open, the air will leak out of the relief valve. The image below shows how to clean the valve. If cleaning the valve does not cure the problem, you need to replace the check valve. The part can be ordered from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .
