Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 106.53202201

Having a couple of problems with the unit the water does not dispense, the ice cubes are frosty, and the lettuce is frozen, Looking for step by step information to fix the problem and what parts might be needed.

The freezing lettuce and water not dispensing might be related to the damper in the refrigerator not closing completely.

You can remove the damper assembly and check the door to see if it is working properly. You might need to replace the damper assembly.

Remove the crisper drawers and warm the reservoir behind them with a hair dryer. If this makes the water dispenser work, you know it was frozen.

The frost on the ice cubes might be because the flapper door in the dispenser is not closing. Remove the ice bucket and look down the ice chute. If you see light around the flapper door, something is wrong inside the dispenser. If you need instructions for accessing the flapper door reply on this link and I will be glad to help.
