Kenmore Dryer Model 110.73066100

The control console has no power. The light on the dryer comes on. Tried unpluging the unit and pluging it back in and still no power to the console. Also looking for the owners manual. Looking for step by step information to fix the problem and what parts are needed.

Owner's manuals are great to have for any troubleshooting problems. I have searched your model number and found your owner's manual in the Manage My Life. I have attached the link below. Have a great day!

From the description you give the problem is a bad console or a loose connection.

The images below show how to raise the console to access the electronic control. The image is of a similar model. Remember to unplug the dryer before raising the console.

There are two ribbon connectors that connect the main control to the console. Try removing the ribbons and then reattach them to the control and see if there is any improvement.

If a better connection doesn't work then you will need a meter to check if the control or the console is at fault.

I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance. You can also tell me if you have a meter and would feel comfortable checking DC voltage.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
