my washer model is 110.26842691
Washers are appliance that we turn to on a daily base so when it gives out it can be really frustrating. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I found a great link that can help you. You can also set service with a Sears technician so they can fix your Washer. I have attached the links below. Have a wonderful day!
One way to check what is causing the problem is to swap the hot and cold hoses in the back of the machine. If you swap hoses and the cold starts working but the hot doesn't then there may be a water pressure problem with the cold water supply.
If the cold water starts filling very slowly even with the hot hose hooked up then the cold valve is most likely the problem. You can check the screens on the valve and see if they are clogged with sediment. The 285805 inlet valve can be obtained from the following link: Sears PartsDirect .The images below will show how to raise the console and remove the cabinet to access the inlet valve. Remember to unplug the washer first. Thanks for the question. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.Member
