I have a Kenmore front load plus 2 washing machine. Type 832, SN# HLT4462321, MOD 11047612601. The washing machine goes through all of the cycles. When it is at the end of the rinse cycle and almost finish code F01 shows in the display. All the different cycle appears to be happening, but the code comes up at the end of the wash cycle. I have still tried to use it, however, I don't think that that the machine is acutally processing the wash. The machine is on and the water is in entering and exiting the machine but not washing the clothes. Can you offer me some assistance. I've tried to do a hard start. I've had no luck.
Error codes are like a mystery it can be hard to find out what they mean. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I found some great link in the Manage My Life website on error code F01. I have attached the link below. Have a nice day!
The F01 error is a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
Possible Causes/Procedure A power glitch may cause this error. Unplug washer or disconnect power for two minutes. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.Starting Service History Mode & Diagnostic Test: NOTE: The washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test. 1.Close the door.2.Select any one key (except STOP) and follow the steps below, using the same key (remember the key): Press/hold 4 seconds, Release for 4 seconds, Press/hold 4 seconds, Release for 4 seconds Press/hold 4 seconds.3.Upon release, all console LED lights will turn on for 5 seconds.4.If there are any failure codes, they will be displayed in the Estimated Time Remaining display.NOTES: This program recalls the most recent failure code first. Press the same key to advance to the next failure code. (If the console doesn't change, then the same failure code was stored multiple times.) If there aren't any more failure codes all the lights on the console will turn on for 5 seconds. Next the washer begins the Diagnostic Test. To cancel out of service mode press STOP. (This exits you out of the program.)If the F01 error code reoccurs you will need to replace the Central Control Unit (CCU).If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases; Sears Parts Direct . Please perform the diagnostic tests detailed here and report back with your findings. I am looking forward to assisting you again in the near future. While the F1 can indicate a bad Machine Control Board. There are also FALSE F1’s. The most likely known causes are: 1). Pinched Pressure Switch Tubing Hose usually behind the Drain hose in the left rear corner. 2). If the customers power outlet is not grounded and/or has reverse polarity at the outlet, or at the line filter can also give this F1 Code. I hope this information is helpful to you. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.Member
