Kenmore gas ranger over door wont open. help!
I tried to clean the oven on my Kenmore Gas stove today....pressed the "clean" button, door locked and nothing happened. Now its not allowing to turn on my oven or boiler. i waited an Hour before i unplugged it, still nothing even hold the cancel button 3 second, nothing.

You can also try to reset the range by disconnecting it from the power, and leaving it off for a least an hour. I hope this helps.

It sounds like something failed in the door lock mechanism. To repair this problem, someone will need to disassemble the range and check the operation of the door lock mechanism.
