Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern about this water leak. This type of problem usually occurs when the fill tube to the icemaker freezes closed. This will cause a back pressure and the water can leak from the back. In this case, the fill tube can be thawed with a hair dryer but be careful not to get it too hot. The water valve # WR57X10051 will need to be replaced if this has happened. It's available at SearsPartsDirect .

If the fill tube is clear, then check for a crack or pin hole in the water tube behind the cabinet. If it seems ok, a clamp may be needed to make a tighter fit where the grommet and water line connect. Most any local hardware store will have a small clamp. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
