model# 11027072603 I have removee down to the second hub and still can't remove the basket. is there anything else I need to remove?
When it comes to removing parts on your appliances it can be hard without any instructions. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I found your owner's manual in the Manage My Life website that can help you. I have attached the link below. Have a nice day!
This owners manual is only for the set up of a new machine but thank you anyway. By the way the tub does move up and down by about a 1/2 inch after removing the center bolt. I then removed both hubs. the first one with several little screws and the smaller one beneith it. The tub still only moves by the same 1/2 inch. Could there be corosion preventing it from moveing further? I don't want to force it too much.
Thank you for your question.
I am sorry you are having a problem with the washer. I will be happy to assist you with removing the basket in the washer. The basket should lift out once you have the center bolt and wash plate removed but we know that does not always happen. The detergent and softener media will build up around the shaft and make it difficult to pull the basket out. I usually when I had a stuck basket, I had to have a helper hold the outer tub down while I pull up on the basket. While pulling up on the basket wiggle it back and forth to remove. Once you get the basket out clean the shaft before putting it back together. If the shaft is rusted, you can remove the rust with emery cloth. This will keep the basket from sticking and giving over load error codes. I hope this is helpful. If you need further assistance, please reply below with more details.
