installing a water filter on frigerator
i have no problem getting the filter out of the frigerator. i lined the ridges up with the arrow. turned it until it clicked. with the arrow on top i pushed the filter into the frigerator. but the release button does not come back out.

Thank you for your question. Sometimes replacing some parts can be a little tricky. Normally when this occurs, it's because the filter is not pushed in all the way. Sometimes these filters can get stuck and hard to push in but use a little more force and it will go in all the way. If the button still won't pop out, the filter housing # W10121138 may need to be replaced. It's available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you.
