Front loading washing machines

I thought front loading washing machines were supposed to weigh clothing in washer and set a time depending on weight. I listened to your video and it said the cycle were preset to a certain time. All loads I have done on the normal setting have registered a time of 53 minutes. As I am sure they did not all weigh the same is this normal?

Hello,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

Without your model number I am only able to give you general information.

Not all washers sense load size, a large number of front load washers do not.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please include your model number in a reply to this post.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
