what can I use to kill the weed called "nutsage" ?

Eliminating certain kinds of grass can be quite the challenge. It is not as easy as it would seem. Below I attached a helpful link that will provide you with instructions on removing the nut sedge grass from your lawn. I hope this link is helpful!

Nutsedge is a tough nut to crack, for a couple of reasons. It produces a lot of underground tubers that look like nuts, which grown into new plants. The leaves are slick, so weed killers roll right off. ---- There's no one-time cure -- getting rid of it requires a multi-pronged, repeated attack that includes cultural and chemical methods. See the attached link from Clemson. Your state probably has a similar publication. Do a web search that includes the name of your state and the words extension home nutsedge.
