Samsung side by side fridge. Model # RS2577SL When fridge lost power last month, Samsung customer service wanted us to replace compressor. A BLUE TEAM tech came out & replaced heat resistor and appliance resumed working. But a week later this noise started. Sears told me to pull it out further from the wall. It's still very noisy. Not grinding. Not squeaking. Just tired! What do you think? Donna
I can understand your concern about this noise. The information you have received from Joseph is good but it does not pertain to this problem. If the noise is coming from the back of the unit it could be the fan motor or the compressor. Depending on the noise, it may not mean anything but I would recommend having a technician check it.
