This vaccum has worked well until today.
I understand that you are having problems with your brush not spinning on your vacuum? I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below if you are interested in viewing. I hope the link that I provided is helpful.
Thank you for your question.I can understand you wondering why the agitator roller brush is not rotating. There could be a couple of reasons. There is a thermal reset that may have tripped; push the button on the top of the nozzle assembly to see if that will reset the brush motor. There also is a thermal reset on the motor under the nozzle hood but this will normally reset when it cools down. There also is a tip switch that when you lower the handle the micro switch with activate power to the motor circuit. The last thing is power board that powers the motor with 170 volts DC. In order to get to the tip switch and the power board you have to remove about 11 screws in the dust box and motor to get to those components. Unless you have some mechanical ability I would suggest that you take the unit in for repair. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services . If you need more help repairing this unit please reply and I will be happy to help you.Thank you for using Manage My Life.
