You can visit the Briggs & Stratton Website to view the operators manual and parts list for your engine. If you're looking for a service manual, if available, they will have it listed on their site as well. Most of their service manuals cover a wide range of models so it will not be listed for your model directly.Thank you for using Manage My Life!
James and Wade, Thanks for your help. I am going to see if B&S have a service manual. Getting the lawn mower ready for grass eating for the year and found it wouldnt even give me a pop. Still nothing after new plug and cleaning out fuel tank and providing new fuel. Guess it needs a bit more so it is time to take the cover off. Thanks again. Bob
Check the spark plug to see if you have spark. Remove the spark plug, then plug it into the lead. Use insulated pliers or screwdriver to hold the plug against the block/head and have someone give the rope a pull. Look on the tip of the spark plug to see if you see spark when it's being pulled. This will tell us if we have spark or not and which direction we need to be looking in. You can let me know what you find out with that test and we can proceed from there.
