garage door movement adjustment
I've installed a new door opener and it only moves about a foot and stops. Can you help?

This may be a problem with the safety sensors. Make sure they are both lit up and not blinking or flickering. If they are blinking/flickering they are not aligned to each other correctly.
If that looks good, remove the cover check the RPM sensor to make sure the disk us pushed onto the end of the motor shaft all the way. I have attached a photo of this so you will know what you are looking for.If neither of those seems to do the trick, I recommend you have a technician come take a look at the unit since it's a new install.Thank you for using Manage My Life!
