My fridge fuse is blown. I cannot find the metalic glass cased fuse - 250V 15A fuse that was originally came with the fridge. I have found a ceramic fuse that is 250V 15A. So I was wondering if I could use it for my fridge. Thanks.
I know how important it is to have a good working refrigerator in your home so that you can keep your food nice and fresh. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I did manage to find a link that will provide you with some good tips to help you with your problem. I hope my link is useful.
I can understand your concern. The information you have received is correct about this board. The only difference between the glass fuse and ceramic fuse is, the ceramic fuse is more durable. Yes, a ceramic fuse of the same rating will work. However, it's not recommended to replace the fuse because it's very possible that when soldering in the new fuse, it can damage the board. It might even create a safety hazard. I strongly recommend replacing the board as stated previously and not the fuse. I hope this will help you. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
