Refrigerator are a major appliance in a home they keep our food fresh but once something goes wrong it can get really concerning. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I was searching in the Manage My Life website and found a great link. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!
I know it can be frustrating to have a water leak. You have received some good information about the filter housing. If the water fittings are leaking, try removing the water lines, cut 1/2" off the ends and reconnect the lines. I'm sending a picture with instructions of how these fittings work. Filters cannot be drained but sometimes removing the filter and reinserting it, may correct the leak, if it seems to be leaking from the filter. If it still leaks, usually the filter housing # 2186443 will need to be replaced. If the filter itself is leaking, the filter # 9010 will need to be replaced. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be available and I will be glad to assist you further. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
