I know it can be frustrating to have a water leak. You have received some good information about the filter housing. If the water fittings are leaking, try removing the water lines, cut 1/2" off the ends and reconnect the lines. I'm sending a picture with instructions of how these fittings work. Filters cannot be drained but sometimes removing the filter and reinserting it, may correct the leak, if it seems to be leaking from the filter. If it still leaks, usually the filter housing # 2186443 will need to be replaced. If the filter itself is leaking, the filter # 9010 will need to be replaced. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be available and I will be glad to assist you further. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
