Craftsman Garage Remote

2 remotes, which I can program both individually, but they cancel each other out and will not work at the same time.

Programming remotes can challenge patience sometimes. A suggestion I have to help the expert provide a better answer is to add the model number of your garage door unit and remotes to this thread. In the meantime, I attached two links below that may hold some clues to this problem. Hope this helps!

This is a problem where one of the remotes has reverted to an earlier technology. You will need to buy a new remote and by a process of elimination find the defective one. Remove the battery from that one and discard it to save future problems.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern when only one remote will work.

Don is correct that you have a remote problem.

  • If you have a keyless entry you can program that in first after you have erased all the codes and then you can do a process of elimination with the remotes to figure out which on is bad.

I hope this will help.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
