Kenmore dishwasher does not have power and all the outlets work is there a reset button? model number 66516014402 thanks
I understand how important it is to have a good working dishwasher in the home since dirty dishes do gather quickly. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I did manage to find a link that will provide you with more information about what might be causing this problem. I hope my link is useful.
There is no reset button but there is a thermal fuse that is most likely the problem. If the dishwasher is dead with no lights or display then the most likely cause is an open thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is located in the console and can be checked for continuity with a meter or it can be bypassed if no meter is available. The thermal fuse will have a black wire and a black/white wire on it. If you have no meter then with the power turned off you can remove these two wires and join them together with a small piece of insulated wire and see if you get any lights. See the image below for help with this. One other possibility is the wire connections at the dishwasher junction box behind the kick plate. Sometimes the wire nuts get loose and a good connection is lost. The door switch will not be a problem. Even if the door switches were bad there would still be display lights. I hope the images help you resolve this problem. You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.
