Hello, We choose a cycle, like regular cycle, and press start, it agitates 4 times interminently and then stops completely. The indicator shows 82 and by the time it hits 80, the machine just shuts down. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks, Lili Faria

From the description you give I suggest running a diagnostic cycle. The test will run all functioning parts for short time.The image below shows how to enter the "Field Service Test" which will cycle through and flash an error code at the end. This would be a good start. The instructions to enter the test are in the image below.Try this first and see what works and if you get any error codes. I ran this test and it didn't work. When we pressed the Heated Dry key 6 times and pressed start, it went into the normal wash mode and filled with water, agitated 4 times intermittently and then stopped. So we pressed start again and it went to 2 on the screen and proceeded to empty the dishwasher. So what is the next step. Is my Board fried.
If the unit will not run the correct diagnostic test or give an error code to indicate why it wouldn’t then yes your control most likely will need to be replaced. The control 99003431 can be obtained for about $121 dollars. I suggest a technician install the control especially if you don't have a grounding strap. If you damage the control then you are stuck with it. If a technician shorts the control then he is responsible.
