how do I get a replacement garage door opener for our Sears opener? I cannot get our old one to work and Sears says they no longer carry that model

I can't check for you without a specific model number(139.xxxxx). If you were to go to searspartsdirect.com and enter in your model number you could find the remote you need if it is still available. If not you can either get an external receiver with a matching remote. This bypasses your internal one. Or you can get an universal remote. Chamberlain makes a remote called the clicker that works with almost all openers. It is not available at sears. Thanks BB
