One good remote, the 2nd just purchased. Set the dips the same, no go. Use the green button with the second remote, okay, but the first one won't work anymore. Erase all codes, same problem. Only one works. Tried different dips, no good. Phone techs for Sears and Chamb. no help. anybody?? Is the new remote defective??

This actually indicates that the logic board is defective. A lot of times a power surge can make this behave this way. You probably don't have a surge protector on the opener. You can either live with one remote, replace the logic board or get a new opener. You can get replacement parts at searspartsdirect.com, click on the contact us icon for help. Thanks BB
