When patching holes in asphalt pkg lot is it better to saw-cut the sides of holes or chisel?

Actually the loose nature of asphalt makes it easy to do either. Sawing it is the better looking of the two, but a chisel will work if you don't have a concrete saw or a saw with a carbide blade. The warmer the asphalt the easier it is to work with. Make sure and use a flat board or something to tamp down the new asphalt or you will end up with a pot hole. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
