How do I reset my key code pad of my garage door opener, craftsman 3/4 HP, model #41AC175-2A?
Unable to reset outside key pad of garage door opener. Light blinks twice, but when I put in the code numbers, it will not take. I can't open from the outside using the key pad. Any suggestions??

Make sure the battery is good. Find the colored learn button on the motor unit. Press and release this button and within 30 seconds enter the 4 digit code followed by the up/down button. The light bulb on the motor unit should flash once. Wait for 1 minute and test. If the light bulb did not flash or it does not run the unit AND the remotes work fine then you need a new keypad.
