I have already changed the RMP sensor and the mother board. After I changed the computer board the door worked fine for about 3 days then I went to shut it and the door goes down about a foot and then back up and flashed a #5 coed.
Make sure the rpm sensor cup is firmly pressed on and the down force is up to at least 60%. If it still has a problem unhook the door from the opener and see if it runs without it hooked up. Make sure and have a surge protector on the unit.
Five blinks of the led means the logic board is not receiving a signal from the rpm sensor. The rpm sensor might be a bad one.If the black plastic interrupter cup on the end of the motor is not running deep enough in the groove of the rpm sensor, this will happen.Be sure the interrupter cup is pushed on the motor shaft as far as it will go. If it is replace the rpm sensor. Thanks BBMember
