what are dp codes on garage door remote
remote stopped working.bought a new one and it does not program...on new package it reads factory set codes....can i have code for model no 139.53970srt.serial no. 085213200044

Your opener either has Dip switches in the remote that must match the back of the motor unit exactly, or there are no switches in the remote and on the back of the unit you will find a colored learn button. Press this button and then press the button on the remote. The light bulb should flash once to let you know it has been programmed.
Note: Not all craftsman remotes work with all operators. Make sure you have the right one, as they operate on different frequencies and different configurations.
