Why does my dishwasher not wash correctly?

Checked water pressure-strong. Checked Temp 125 or above. Arm does not spin. It is always in the same position after each wash. Glasses are dirtier when finished than when started! Its a Roper dishwasher model RUD4000SB0, serial #FY3301274. It appears to me that there is not enough pressure to spin the arm and that is part of the problem. Do you have any ideas?

If the dishwasher is filling with enough water and the pump does not develop enough water pressure to cause the spray arm to turn, the likely failure is a restriction to the pump impeller or a stripped impeller. I added some information in the images below. You will likely need to remove the pump and check for restrictions.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dishwasher.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
