Are garage door opener parts for model 139.53335SRT3 compatable with parts for model 139.3335SRT2?
The drive gear on my door opener model 139.53335SRT2 is worn out and I need to replace it, but the only model that comes up is the 139.53335SRT3. Are both models compatable. I believe I need to purchase the complete part number 41C4220A. Is this correct.

The parts should be identical. Usually the srt 2 or 3 has too do with the options like remotes or wall stations. The internal parts will be the same for your purpose. make sure and protect the opener with a surge protector 900 joules or higher. Thanks BB
