mY SCREW drive garage wont close just replaced carriage it grinds after a foot of closing
genie screw drive worked for three days after replacing carriage now today it grinds after a foot of movement and goes back up. Operates fine manually once you break the tension of the carriage

You either have a damaged screw or carriage I would suspect.Have you tried to bring it past the problem area. Look for damage on either of these surfaces. It is possible if you had to replace the carriage then it might of done damage to the screw before it was replaced. Also look at the joints of the screws for damage or looseness. Thanks BB
