My Craftsman gar. door opener 139.53824srt won't operate, just flashes 10 times. How do I fix it?

Flash codes actually only go up to 5 flashes. This is the led light by the colored learn button. The light bulb flashes do not matter. With out better, more detailed or accurate information this answer will be very general. If it won't open with the remotes you probably have the vacation lock on the wall station on. Press and hold it for 2 seconds to turn it off. If it will not close from the remotes but if you hold the wall station down then your safety sensors are either misaligned or faulty. If the led light is flashing a set number and then breaking then that is important. Also unhook the door from the opener to see if it runs well and is balanced. If this does not help resubmit your question but be very detailed. No such thing as too much info here. You can upload pics too. Thanks BB
