my remotes don't work , but the console does
model 139.53985D . wall remote works fine (except the green light does not come on when in use). but 2 remotes will not work. changed batteries. tried to reprogram - nothing. please help

If the wall button will work if you HOLD IT DOWN then the problem is in the safety eyes. Make sure there is a light lit up on both of them and they are aligned. To make sure it is not the wall station take it down and unwire it keeping the wires apart. There is no charge in these wires. If it still does it then it is good. If it fixes it then you need a new wall station. If the wall station is good then you will probably need a new logic board. You can go to searspartsdirect.com for a replacement part. Click on the contact us icon for help. Also make sure and get a surge protector for the opener 900 joules or higher. Thanks BB
