How to program Security+ keypad?
I have a Model 139.53963SRT opener. Our remote control broke, so in trying to program the new remote, I erased all of the other remotes. I can't get the keypad - Model 139.53684 Security+ to program - How do you get this to communicate with the opener? The instructions I found online and from the unit only tell you how to set the password?

First make sure the keypad has a new battery. Now press any button and a back light should light up the numbers on the panel. If not replace the keypad. If so find the colored learn button on the motor head. Press and release this button and then press the 4 digit code followed by the up/down button. The light bulb should flash. If this does not work try it again. If still no then replace the keypad. You can go to searspartsdirect.com for one. Thanks BB
