Sensors are aligned properly. Should I replace the sensors? Also force adjustment is set at max.
There are a couple of things to check other than what you have done.
First and foremost the force on the opener should never be set on max. This a dangerous situation and can lead to injury or death. I would suggest you do a 2x4 safety reversal test regularly.Separate the door from the opener and run it by hand. It should run smooth and without much effort. If it does then instead of pulling the door closed try pushing it from the top to fell for obstructions or roughness. If so fix this first. A lot of times the door rubs on the jamb at the point you are describing and the door track needs adjusted away from the wall. A good opener does not fix a bad running door.Another thing to look at is the height of the opener. As the doors top panel goes around the radius at the highest point it should clear the opener rail by only an inch. Also when the door is all the way up the rail above it should only clear the top panel by an inch too. Also when the opener has the door shut the draw bar arm should be at an angle of only 20-30 degrees. Also check for anything on the door that would get in the way of the sensors even though they are aligned. Make sure the surface that the sensors is attached to is solid and does not move, this may be the track. Please do a 2x4 test. Thanks BBMember
