Why won't the valve assembly thread to the gas tank properly on my Northwest Territory camp stove model 889728-119?
The threads look good. I am an engineer so I know what to look for. It was used one time by me and it was not cross threaded. It has never sealed properly.

I don't see serviceable parts available for this model of camp stove. If the threaded fitting will not seal properly on the gas tank then the stove should not be used. If it is still under warranty, I recommend returning it to the store. If it is not under warranty, I recommend replacing it.
