Craftsman 139.53615SR opener. Do not have original remotes. I'm using Clickmaster "Universal" remotes that have dip switches. My remotes work, but neighbor's does too. His seems to scroll though a number of frequencies, so he opens mine every 6-7 times or so. My opener has a yellow (maybe dirty white) "Learn" button. How do i clear all old codes and reprogram the opener? I've tried several dip swith settings in the new remotes, and the door will open for me, but it still opens for teh neighbor. PLEASE HELP!
First if you do not have the manual and want one go to managemyhome.com and click on manuals and enter the model # for a download.
First hold down the colored learn button on the back of the motor for 30 seconds. Then change the positions of the dip switches(if that universal one has one) and then press and release the learn button and within 30 seconds press the button on the remote. That should reprogram the unit unless that remote has a different way of programming follow it. Make sure and have a surge protector 900 joules or higher on the unit. And do a 2x4 safety reversal test regularly. Thanks BBMember
