replaced garage door opener but keyless pad is not working

First make sure the batteries are good in the device. Not all craftsman products work with each other. They have to be on the same frequency and formatted the same. If you just replaced the opener with a brand new one then it is probably running on 315mhz(purple srt button and antenna). If the keypad is older it might not work. If it is compatible and the battery is new then find the colored srt learn button on the motor head. Press and release this button and within 30 seconds enter the 4 digit code on the keypad followed by the up/down button. The light bulb should flash once. If it does not program then the keypad is faulty. Thanks BB
