both of my remotes for garage door quit working, installed new batteries and still doesn't work.

If they only open the door and not close it then you are having safety sensor problems. They probably need to be realigned. Make sure both of them have their led lights on. If it will close it but not open it then your vacation lock is probably on. On the inside wall station find the lock button press and hold it for 2 full seconds and let go to unlock. Then try again.
If the will not open OR close the door by the remotes then you will need a new logic board, as the receiver has gone bad on the unit. You can go to searspartsdirect.com to get another one. Click on the contact us icon for help. Have the model number ready. Also get a surge protector for the unit, 900 joules or higher. Thanks BBJoin this conversation.
