g.opener #139.53637srt,motor won't start from trasmitter or wall switch can't start shorting it
garage opener Sears/Craftsman #139.53637srt won't start from wall switch, transmitter or shorting it,what else can I check.

If you short it and the light bulbs flash then it might be the sensors. If not then it is time for a new logic board. These are fairly easy to install, you just have to reprogram the remotes.
