how do i make an adjustment on my manual garage door?
overhead door nr 420085. It is hard to open after about halfway up.

This is the kind of thing we would like you to hire a professional to do. Garage door springs are very dangerous and if you do not know them can injure or kill you. Most types of springs are not even available to the public. A good adjustment should cost no more than 65 dollars and they should check the door as a whole for ease of operation and safety making minor adjustments. They should lubricate the door for you too. They will also be able to tell you if they see anything in the near future you might pay attention to. Besides there are so many adjustments to make on a garage door that it really would not be practical to suggest a few since that might not even help at all. Thanks BB
