A couple of things could be going on. Look at the back or side of the unit for a little led light. If you can't find it press the remote and it will flash. If this is not blinking in succession then follow these directions. Look at the photo eyes to make sure they are aligned and lights are on both of them. Make sure there is no obstruction. Make sure the down force on the back or side of the motor is turned from1/2 to 3/4 up.

If the light is flashing, then it probably is flashing 5 times.There are only a couple of reasons that a five flash occurs. The first is if you run the motor too much in a short amount of time and it over heats. To solve this unplug it and let it rest for 1 hr.

The second is your rpm sensor is malfunctioning. Unplug the unit to reset the code. If it persists replace the rpm sensor.

The third is the trolley is stuck on the up stop bolt. It is located on the rail. It needs to be removed and then adjust the UP travel Opposite of the arrow, or down so it does not go up so far.
