Garage remote will not work. (model #13953677BRT3). Have replaced battery. How do I reprogram it?

If you are sure the new battery is good then find the colored learn button on the back of the opener motor head. Push this button and then press the button on the remote. The light bulb should flash once. Some times you experience logic board problems and you think it is the battery has gone down.
If the remote does not program to check for this, WITHOUT pressing the learn button just press the button on the remote. If it does not light up the led light by the learn button then your remote is probably bad. If it does light it up but will not program in then you might need a new logic board. Just in case anyone wants a free manual to download for their Craftsman garage door opener I just found a site where I printed out only the pages I needed but saved the whole manual.
