There is not much more detail; I replaced the sprocket coupling and replaced exactly as before. The trolly now stops about three inches too short. Obviously the door does not close completely; I will adjust the travel limit screw but there was no need to do that before.
There is a chance that while you had the coupling off that when it got hooked back up it was in a different position. It should not be a big deal though. I would simply adjust the down limit to the proper position. Believe me stranger things have happened. Make sure the force settings are correct and do a 2x4 safety reversal test afterward and protect the opener with a surge protector. Thanks BB
