How to set the up and down limits on my garage door opener?
I need to know where limiter switches must be set on. I have a model 139.53976srt door opener. I have the cowling off the unit and I can see the limiters on the nylon slides.

I'm assuming the travel limit switch needs just a small adjustment because the door is not reaching the floor before it stops or it's not opening up enough. I added the instructions in the images below. The second image is the limit switch assembly showing the up and down contacts. You should only need a slight adjustment one way or the other. See first image for instructions.
