Craftsmen garage door 139.53627SRT. Door goes up but not down push button and light flash 5 times.
door will go up but not down. when i try to lower the door the light will flash 5 times. My door sensors have the green light on but could they still be bad?

No if the lights are lit then it is not the sensors.
There are only a couple of reasons that a five flash occurs. The first is if you run the motor too much in a short amount of time and it over heats. To solve this unplug it and let it rest for 1 hr.The second is your rpm sensor is malfunctioning. Unplug the unit to reset the code. If it persists replace the rpm sensor.The third is the trolley is stuck on the up stop bolt. It is located on the rail. It needs to be removed and then adjust the UP travel Opposite of the arrow, or down so it does not go up so far. If none of this helps we recommend you replace the logic board.
