The unit has no learn button and I have no original remote. How will I activate this replacement remote that is listed as compatible with the unit?

139.5368 series is a security plus device, are you sure the opener is not 139.53680? If it is then there is a red learn button. If not there is probably a set of 1-8 or 10 dip switches that must match the inside of the remote to work correctly. These are the only two options here. If you call sears with the model number or go to sears.com they can help you with a hand held. Chamberlain also makes a universal remote called a clicker that will work with the unit too. You either have dip switches or a learn button. Thanks BB
